How does Opernexa track stock across multiple branches?
Every branch, store and van is a stock location with its own quantities, and all of them roll up into one view. Moving goods between locations is recorded as a transfer with a sending and receiving confirmation, so stock in transit is never lost. You can see total stock and per-location stock at the same time.
Can Opernexa handle batch numbers and expiry dates?
Yes. Items can be tracked by batch with an expiry date, and Opernexa will show you what is expiring within any window you choose. Sales and production draw from batches so you can trace where a specific batch went. This matters most for food, pharmacy and anything with a shelf life.
How do I record damages, wastage and returns?
Damages and wastage are recorded as stock adjustments with a reason code, a value and the user who entered them. Customer returns come back through the POS and put stock back where it belongs. Both show up in reporting so wastage becomes a number you can manage rather than a gap you discover at stock take.
Does Opernexa support stock takes and cycle counting?
Yes. You can freeze and count a whole location or run rolling cycle counts on selected items while trading continues. Opernexa shows you the variance by quantity and by value before anything is posted, and keeps a full record of what was adjusted and why.
Can I transfer stock between branches in Opernexa?
Yes. A transfer is raised at the sending location and confirmed at the receiving one, so discrepancies are caught at the point of handover rather than at month end. Goods in transit remain visible and valued throughout.
